Vole Problems in Clinton Township, Michigan

Many residents in Clinton Township, Michigan are discovering that voles have been ravaging their plant beds and lawns.

This is the first time that we have ever had vole problems. We have 2\" holes and tunnels running along the fence line and in all of our landscape beds. Our plants and grass are dead or dying and the bases of several of our trees have been chewed almost bare.     -Amanda S

We have a big problem with Voles this year. When the snow melted I found tunnels that run up to 20 feet long; there all kinds of holes and dirt laying on the top of my lawn. After reading about voles, I now know why we have a skunk problem also. It worries me now because we have whole herds of deer, ground hogs, and raccoons in that are attracted to our yard. I even saw a fisher one day and my neighbor saw what she called a black ferret. We have also seen Porcupine, Possum, and even coati. The vole problem is severe and what we are really worried about. I had an exterminator here today to verify that they are voles. After reading up on the danger voles can be to the health of the wild life and humans, I am deeply concerned for the health of me, my family, and the many animals that visit my property.  -Candice V

I have had vole activity on and off on my property for years. I have tried the poison pellets and watered with the recommended repellent which has kind of controlled the situation until now. My front yard looks like a Zoo exhibition and I have about 20 mounds of soil from the voles and the ground looks like a road map with all the tunnels that they have dug.       -Branson M

We solve many types of wildlife control conflicts in Clinton Township and surrounding areas. Give us a call if you need expert animal removal and/or live wildlife trapping. We can also perform an inspection of your property to evaluate the problem.

Many of the projects we solve involve raccoon families in attics and chimneys, mud swallow nests on stucco, woodpeckers drilling siding, voles and gophers destroying lawns, rats or squirrels thumping and bumping around inside walls and in attics, bat infestations, skunks stealing pet food and snakes living in crawlspaces and stone walls.

Along with physical damage and disease, wild animals also bring along disturbance and nuisance with all their noise and commotion and smell. Baby raccoons chirp and chitter like little birds; raccoons and rats will fight all night and keep people awake; skunk smell takes the cake, but have you ever smelled a dead animal in your ventilation system? We have seen much, much more than these problems, but that is a general idea of the kinds of problems that my professional wildlife removal operators and I are prepared to solve.

Not only do my technicians and I trap and remove problem wild animals, we do a lot of other dirty work, too. Don't hesitate to call us for dead animal removal, pigeon waste cleanup, bat guano removal, mouse droppings, decontamination, repairs, above ground and below ground rodent slick fencing, odor control for skunk spray, and the like. We are a full service pest control company with a wide range of animal control solutions.

I have been in the professional wildlife control business for many years. My favorite stories and experiences are removing bats from schools and churches.

Wildlife Problems in Clinton Township, Michigan

There are plenty of animal problems to go around in Clinton Township, Michigan.

There have been off and on sightings of mice in the kitchen and on the main level of the house. It is a noticeable problem that reoccurred in November. Two pest control services and four months later and we still have mice. All food sources are sealed in Tupperware, the house is very clean, multiple baits and traps are out but we can\'t kill any mice. They seem to go right around all the traps! Usually we are able to see at least one dropping in an obvious spot in kitchen every day or every other day. We can\'t seem to find anyone who can get rid of them. We live in a single family home and neither of our neighbors have any mice problems.              -Brandy L

There is a scratching and scraping noise in the ceiling above my bedroom. There is only attic space up there, it\'s where our water heater system is. It is primarily during the day but has been happening through the night lately also. It\'s been going on for about three weeks now. I think it may be squirrels, but it sounds too big to be squirrels, and they are also not typically active at night.   I\'m worried it may be a raccoon or an opossum.             -Anthony A

We had a live bat in our house during the really cold week in February. However, we recently found another one, but dead. We are concerned there may be more in our attic... We are looking to have them safely removed (if they are there), but also the house sealed to prevent them from coming back. Our house is two livable levels, with a full attic and basement. The attic is solely used for storage. There are two chimneys on the house. I\'m really just looking for a way to remove them if there are a few bats (hopefully not more), and also prevention in the future.        -Jaron P
